2012 Vasculata Announcement

The 2012 Vasculata Conference is July 26-28 at UW Medicine South Lake Union.

Vasculata 2012 will originate at Vanderbilt but be offered by webcast at the South Lake Union campus (see attached).  Like Immunology or Neurobiology, Vascular Biology is deeply interwoven with all fields of Pathology.  Vascular topics that should interest all experimental pathologists include tumor angiogenesis, free radical signaling, senile dementia, stroke, aging and inflammatory diseases.  

The course is designed as an entry level for scientists who want to get a good footing in blood vessel biology.  In addition to the seminar sessions, Vasculata provides an annotated reading list, the Vasculata worksheet, that you can use to dig deeper into any subject that is closer to your own interests.  Center faculty will be present during the seminars to offer local discussion and a chance to meet UW colleagues.
