Clinical and Research Background

Dr. Jalikis received her undergraduate training and doctorate in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She completed her first residency training in internal medicine at Hospital Carlos G. Durand, in Argentina. She relocated to the United States in 2006. She completed her residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology, as well as fellowships in Surgical Pathology, Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology and Gynecologic and Breast Pathology at the University of Washington.

Currently, Dr. Jalikis is an acting assistant professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Washington. She practices diagnostic surgical pathology primarily in the subspecialty of gastrointestinal and liver Pathology as well as autopsy pathology. Her research interests are focused on liver transplantation and pancreatic cancer.
