There are three major areas of research of our laboratory and we are currently using proteomics extensively.
- To study human disease directly with tissues collected either at autopsy or from living subjects with Parkinson’s disease.
- To investigate the contribution of environmental exposure to the development of Parkinson’s disease.
- To dissect out molecular mechanisms involved in Parkinson’s disease in in-vivo and in-vitro parkinsonian models.
